This is a brand new cotton kimono. It is made of beautiful woven striped cotton fabric died with Natural Ai. Ai ( natural indigo ) gives this kimono a highly attractive and appealing blue hue. It is such a dark navy as to appear nearly black, but the color will soften with washing and wear, just like your favorite pair of jeans.
Of medium weight, this kimono will last many years.
Garment is hitoe ( unlined ); and has a hand stitched collar and hem. The collar is triple thickness.
