Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web! People always ask me how I got started making kimono.

Well, I've owned several businesses over the years, which included being a professional Artist,  professional restoration of old houses, along with being an antiques dealer to help fill those houses and many more.

Because of a deep personal interest in clothing as expression and art,  tailoring, and design,  I've been sewing for over 37 years.  Next  I set out to master sewing kimono after purchasing Japanese and Korean fabrics;  and am now a professional kimono designer. I find my background as a professional prize winning Artist whose work has been sold nationally  and internationally has helped me greatly in that endeavor.

My prize winning Yukata has been featured  in a Yukata photo contest sponsored by Yamotoku in 2006, and took first place.  After that, there was no looking back!

I've been selling my kimono to the public for over 3 years now, and decided owning an on - line business was the next step. An obi I purchased was the inspiration for the logo I designed for my web site, too.

Each kimono I create is one of a kind, and you have the assurance of years of professional design and execution when purchasing any custom kimono from me.

Antiques  and their curation, restoration, and care have been a passion of mine for more than 30 years.  You can be assured that the decorative items I offer are of outstanding quality. It is a real pleasure to bring you items I have personally hand picked on my travels to South Korea, Thailand,  and Japan.

I make trips to Asia to search out unique wares to bring to you every few years. I hope you will enjoy, use and love them as much as it is my passion to bring them to you!
